Safety
Check a Workshop item before you use it.
WorkshopFetch does not scan, certify, or host Workshop files. A Steam-hosted link is not a guarantee that a file is safe or suitable for your game.
Review the original Workshop page
Check the item creator, description, update history, comments, compatibility notes, and any requirements on the original Steam Workshop page before installing anything.
Be cautious with executable files and scripts
Do not run unfamiliar executable files, batch files, shell scripts, or PowerShell commands. SteamCMD commands shown by WorkshopFetch are for local use only and remain subject to Steam, game, and account access rules.
Protect your local setup
Back up saves, configurations, and important files before adding mods. Use your own local security software and follow the game's documentation for installation and removal.
Use the item's official context
WorkshopFetch only reports limited metadata and a Steam-provided direct link when one is available. For permissions, support, removal, or content concerns, use the item's original Workshop page, creator, game publisher, or Steam's own process.
