Terms of Service
Last updated: July 26, 2026
Using the tool
Steam Workshop Downloader lets you look up an individual public Steam Workshop item. A direct download button appears only when Steam returns an eligible direct URL. When no public URL is returned, the site may show an item-specific SteamCMD command for you to run locally; it never runs SteamCMD or receives Steam credentials. The service may change, be limited, or be unavailable at any time.
Your responsibilities
Use the tool only for content you are authorized to access and in compliance with applicable law, Steam's terms, and any game- or item-specific rules. Do not use the service to bypass ownership, privacy, access controls, or other restrictions.
Prohibited use
Do not abuse, disrupt, probe, automate at a harmful rate, or attempt to circumvent the service's safeguards. Do not use the service to proxy, host, redistribute, or commercially exploit Workshop content without authorization.
Third-party services
Steam Workshop content and direct links are provided by Steam. We do not control their availability, contents, permissions, or accuracy. Steam and Valve are trademarks of Valve Corporation; this is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Valve or Steam.
No warranties
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that a lookup or direct link will be available, accurate, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service develops. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
