WorkshopFetch is the site behind Steam Workshop Downloader. It helps people inspect one public Steam Workshop item at a time and understand the download path Steam makes available for that item.
What the tool does
Paste an individual Workshop URL or Published File ID to see the item details Steam returns, such as the title, app ID, file size, update time, tags, and current subscriber count. If Steam returns a valid public direct URL on its approved download host, the tool shows that link.
When Steam does not provide a public link
Some items do not have a usable public direct URL. In those cases, the result page prepares an item-specific SteamCMD command for you to run on your own computer. SteamCMD access remains subject to Steam, the game, and your account's permissions.
What WorkshopFetch does not do
WorkshopFetch does not bypass ownership, privacy, access controls, or game restrictions. It does not run SteamCMD for you, collect Steam credentials, proxy or host Workshop files, unpack files, or claim that third-party Workshop files are safe.
Data, files, and independence
Workshop item metadata and any direct file link shown by this tool come from Steam. Steam Workshop content remains subject to Steam's terms and the rules set by each game and item creator. WorkshopFetch is independent and is not affiliated with Valve Corporation or Steam.
