Find a Steam Workshop Item ID

A Published File ID identifies one Steam Workshop item. This tool accepts either the full individual item URL or that numeric ID by itself.

    Open the item's Steam page

    Choose one individual Workshop item, not a collection, browse page, or search-results page.

    Find the id parameter

    The item URL usually includes a numeric value after id=, such as sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=123456789.

    Paste the URL or number

    Paste the full URL or only the numeric Published File ID into the lookup tool.

Questions

Can I use a collection ID?

No. The lookup currently supports one individual Workshop item only.

Can I paste the full Steam URL?

Yes. The tool extracts the Published File ID from a supported individual item URL.

Why is my number rejected?

Make sure it is the numeric ID for one available Workshop item rather than an App ID, collection ID, or another Steam URL parameter.
